WILLA CONWAY: Women & Money, Bite the Apple

Willa Conway is a community and donor organizer with Resource Generation and Solidaire and is founder of the Weavers Fellowship, an organization that bridges political education and embodied practices alongside movement organizers and donors. She has been involved with Shakti Rising since 2009 and is a recent graduate from the Apprenticeship program, bringing her passion for soul recovery, racial and economic justice, and movement into all aspects of life.

Chelsea is a feral visionary coach, gifted energy practitioner, dream worker, and devotional leader. She has traveled the globe in service working with multiple populations, working to support economic efforts for women in Tanzania and India, lead women's circles in Peru and Greece, and helping to pass policy in the US for domestic abuse survivors. Her wide range of education from Wilderness Charter School, Volunteer and Nonprofit management, Americorps, Mills College, Unfolding Wisdom, and more gives her the ability to walk in many worlds.

After eight years serving as the Director of the Institute for Civic Leadership at Mills College, Michaela launched her own business, HeartScapes, teaching and consulting with non-profits, universities, government agencies and individuals. Understanding that leadership is best practiced from the inside out, she is drawn to methods that uncover our innate wisdom and creative nature. Michaela trained in the Japanese origins of Reiki through the International House of Reiki, and is a certified SoulCollage® Facilitator. She holds a Masters in Leadership for Social Justice from Saint Mary's College of California, where she also serves as Leadership Facilitator for the MICAH Summer Fellowship Program.

NAOMI HARRIS: Living the Seasons

Naomi is a somatic sexuality coach, a degree qualified Clinical Naturopath and an internationally certified QiGong instructor, with a decade of practical experience treating and supporting patients through all stages of life and its challenges. She is an Ambassador of Saida Desilets, the world’s foremost authority on the Jade Egg and holds a deep space for women to come back to the truth of themselves.

ANGIE HENSLEY, MFT: Persephone’s Journey, Skills for the Journey, More Skills for the Journey

Angie is a lifelong learner and teacher with passion, fierce dedication, and belief in the power of liberatory feminine pedagogy to create lasting, community wide change. As a long time feminist, she has done community building and social change work with adolescent mothers in Planned Parenthood Mar Monte's Teen Success program and advocated on behalf of women through  the American Congress of OBGYNs 39 week initiative. Her education is rooted in experiential and transformative learning methods with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, an MA in Counseling Psychology and as a PhD candidate in Human Sexuality. Teaching applied psychology at a men's prison and the local community college As a Certified Focusing-Oriented therapist, she naturally works with aliveness; the felt sense, embodiment, body wisdom and the philosophy of the implicit as an alternative to mind identification and unconscious patriarchal inculturation

LAUREN MELLONE, LMFT: 9 Gates Ceremonial, Heart of Feminine Wisdom

Over the last 15 years, Lauren has assisted and facilitated transformation in diverse settings and intersectionalities, ranging from spiritual contexts to community mental health settings. She has helped guide groups in meditation, creative writing/storytelling, and therapeutic support for social justice organizers; she has worked with severely mentally challenged teens, survivors of ptsd, couples, families, and women’s circles. Lauren holds a master’s degree in Integrative Counseling Psychology from CIIS, and currently works full time as a licensed psychotherapist. She has served with Shakti Rising for 10 years, and has also been a community builder, counselor, and/or facilitator with other non-profits, including Planned Parenthood, the Art of Living Foundation (a meditation & yoga organization), La Cheim (a community mental health agency), and Kaiser Permanente (Health Education Department).

JORDAN STANTON: Living the Seasons

A graduate of the Shakti Rising Transformational Recovery Apprenticeship, Jordan is a wise woman, horse woman and priestess of all things witchy and wild. She has spent over 19 years working, leading and creating from a new paradigm of feminine leadership. Her work includes facilitating transformation for individuals and groups, creating positive and generative change within non-profit organizations and offering powerful workshops and sessions for women and horses. She is a certified in Herbalism, Aromatherapy, and Energy Psychology. She is also a student of legendary Horseman Buck Brannaman and has dedicated herself to practicing a powerful and soulful tradition of horsewomanship.

EDEN TRENOR: Women & Money, The 9th Gate, Salt of the Sea

Eden is a lifelong activist and community organizer who started a farmers market in her hometown, facilitated circles in San Quentin prison, studied permaculture, and has had the privilege to travel, work and study in over a dozen countries. Eden holds a BA in Environmental Studies and Religion from Oberlin College, worked as a Spanish-English interpreter, co-managed Seattle's Neighborhood Matching Fund and holds both Teen Talking Circles and Dancing Freedom facilitator certifications. She directed the California Global Peace Youth Summit and has worked as a nature connection mentor and facilitator for numerous youth organizations. Eden currently serves on the board of CommonSpace Community Land Trust and teaches at Spirit Weavers Gathering.
