 Massage therapy/ bodywork: We incorporate this healing elemet into our treatment plans for a number of reasons. For women who are overcoming abuse or self-destructive behaviors, massage is a way to re-learn touch as a positive experience and to receive healthy loving attention. Massage also teaches our apprentices to be in their bodies and can help them access body memories and release them. Bodywork assists with body-image issues and detoxification and promotes general wellbeing.
