 We do outreach throughout San Diego County, focusing on areas known for substance abuse, addiction, and high rates of “at risk youth," including Mid-City, Downtown, East and North County.
To actively promote community wellbeing, most of our educational classes are open to women of all ages who want to deepen their relationships (especially with themselves!) and enrich the quality of their lives.

Women come to Shakti Rising for a variety of reasons, ranging from feeling like something is wrong or missing, to knowing they have substance abuse (or relationship or self-esteem or …) problem. We address the whole person, not simply one issue or set of issues. In other words, wherever each woman starts from is perfect- the most important first step is beginning the journey of healing.
