Established in 1988, Alliance Healthcare Foundation is a private, nonprofit foundation that works to increase access to healthcare for medically under-served populations through grantmaking, primarily in San Diego County. Alliance uses advocacy and public education to further its mission and inform the community about critical healthcare issues. Funding priorities include access to healthcare, substance abuse prevention and treatment, communicable disease education and prevention, violence prevention and mental health.
